BLU AGE Academic Program
1. Purpose
The knowledge of MDD is a major advantage of the training of future engineers / developers and their understanding of the challenges of application development market.
BLU AGE has developed an academic program to facilitate teaching and research in MDD.
The BLU AGE Academic Program offers faculties at higher education institutions worldwide use of the BLU AGE 2009 Edition ‘Build’ Module into their curriculum.
2. Grants
Educational institutions participating in this program will be entitled to use BLU AGE 2009 Edition ‘Build’ Module free of charge at their locations under this site license.
The software obtained as part of the BLU AGE Academic Program is restricted to educational or non-commercial research purposes ONLY.
The BLU AGE Academic Program provides Approved Faculties Administrators with access to the download area of BLU AGE 2009 Edition ‘Build’ Module installation files. Along with the download, there will be 3 months keys intended to be used for installations on university owned computers for educational or non-commercial research purposes ONLY.

4. Students’ Status and Responsibilities
Students whose education institutions are participating in BLU AGE Academic Program can use BLU AGE 2009 Edition ‘Build’ Module within education institution site ONLY (home installations and use are prohibited).
The distribution of the keys to persons outside the scope abuses their use of the Academic license keys and will result in forfeiture of privileges in receiving this free academic license.
5. Instructors Status and identification
In order to participate in the BLU AGE Academic Program, BLU AGE corp. will require proper documentation proving the individual's academic status. Normally, this can be accomplished by sending a letter (on official school letterhead) identifying the instructor’s current academic status countersigned by their Department Chair (or other designated supervisor).
6. Academic Status Approval
To obtain free of charge academic license we require documentation that proves your academic status.
How to join BLU AGE Academic Program:
- The end user should complete the registration using this form
- Then fax the Free Academic ‘Build’ Module Site License Agreement via facsimile to: +33 1 56 05 88 01.
It is very important that you include the user name and his function in the university in the license agreement.
- Once we have received the signed agreement, the user will receive the current BLU AGE 2009 Edition ‘Build’ Module Academic 3 months license keys by email and instructions to access the download area of BLU AGE 2009 Edition ‘Build’ Module installation files.
- Install the software on all university owned computers and professors’ computers and use the keys sent by email.
- Have your students register on www.bluage.com so that our free support (FORUM) can better respond and they can receive notices of new releases.
- To get a new license keys, send your request by emailing academic@bluage.com.
7. License Upgrade
The educational institution is granted the possibility to upgrade to a paid version of any of the more advanced modules of BLU AGE 2009 Edition including the ‘Deliver’ and ‘Reverse Modeling’ modules.
8. Commercial versions
Commercial Versions for non academic use are available to Academic Institutions at 40% off commercial list price.
9. Program Changes
BLU AGE Corp. reserves the right to make changes to this academic program at any time without notice.
