BLU AGE® Software Factory (BSF) BSP Configuration- Duration : 3 days
Overview
This training is a part of MDD Architect curriculum. It allows understanding the BLU AGE® Java EE and .NET applications generator configuration, in order to adapt it to an application development project's technical context. It targets particularly BLU AGE® architects in charge of the generation technical context within a BLU AGE® project.
It’s a mandatory transition to obtain the BLU AGE® 2009 Edition Certified Architect certification.
This training allows:
- Modifying and realizing BLU AGE® generation components
- Understanding and practicing BLU AGE® methodology to conceive BSP (BLU AGE® Software Plug-ins)
- Integrating the principals of EMF (the Eclipse Modeling Framework), ATL (the Atlas Transformation Language) models’ transformation language and JET (the Java Emitter Templates) code generator.
Objectives
- Deepen the BLU AGE® generator architecture’s knowledge and understand the generator’s transformations processes,
- Learn how to configure the generator so as to adapt it to an application’s deployment technical environment,
- Learn how to create and adjust BSP with the BSF in order to integrate specific elements for and application building,
- Learn how to use BLU AGE® 2009 Edition Deliver module in order to fully realize a packaged application.

Prerequisite
- Mastery of UML 2, MDA concepts and BLU AGE® modeling
- OCL knowledge,
- Java EE or .NET, XHTML, XML, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, Struts, JSF, ASPX, Ajax and SGBD technologies experience,
- Attended “MDD with BLU AGE 2009 Edition, an MDA pragmatic approach”.
Used tools
UML modeling tools (No Magic’s MagicDraw), BLU AGE® 2009 Edition with « BUILD » and « DELIVER » modules, BLU AGE® Software Factory, J2EE application server and database server.
