The production of a generator requires:

• An application or code example that demonstrates the design patterns to implement,
• Possibly a reference guide of these design patterns
• The test cases to validate the behavior of the reference application.

Once the knowledge base updated and the new generator built, its acceptance testing is done as follows: reconstruction of UML2 diagrams from the reference code and automatic generation of the target code reproducing the example cases. You then validate the compliance of the patterns and the correct execution of the reference applications according to the functional tests. Sonar tools audit systematically the generated code and control its quality.

Should you just acquire Blu Age Factory product, this process can be performed independently by your team or your partners.
