March 23rd, 2009 - BLU AGE Corp. to unveil their Agile MDA Legacy Modernization solution at Eclipse Con 2009, Santa Clara, CA.
BLU AGE Corp., leader in agile model transformation, announces the introduction of their Legacy Model-Driven modernization solution: “BLU AGE Reverse Modeling” and “BLU AGE Modernization”.
This solution enables complete reverse modeling of the most critical Enterprise applications and re-engineering using BLU AGE Build and BLU AGE Deliver.
Legacy applications support the most critical systems. However, due to their limited development capacities & high cost of ownership, legacy applications limit organizations’ ability to compete and cost effectively drive their business.
BLU AGE allows transforming existing code and data into UML 2 models, independent from their original technological platform (also referred as “PIMs”, according to MDA standards) that can be generated into your JAVA or .NET architecture of your choice.
With BLU AGE and MDA, applications gain unprecedented agility & capacity for development and are free of obsolescence risks. Easy to implement, BLU AGE allows keeping your legacy application experts (specialists in technologies from the 80’s and 90’s) away from early retirement, providing them with an intuitive platform expressing simple business rules, that is also independent from the renovated application object language.

January 27th, 2009 - BLU AGE Build Edition now validated as Ready For IBM Rational software
BLU AGE Software, a Netfective Technology company, announces that BLU AGE Build agile model transformation workbench is now validated as Ready for IBM Rational software. The validation of BLU AGE Build through the Ready for IBM Rational software validation program demonstrates and validates the integration between BLU AGE' agile model transformation engine and the IBM Rational Software Delivery Platform. The solution also qualified for the IBM SOA level of the program and the Ready for IBM Rational Best Practices Indicator. BLU AGE Software's customers using RSM, RSD and RSA can benefit from models debugging and automated transformation features. The software vendor will act as Gold Sponsor for the IBM Rational Software Development Conference in Orlando, Florida, from May 31 to June 4, 2009.
June 24th, 2008 - Netfective prepares to bring out Blu Age's 2009 Edition during the Code Generation (Cambridge)
Netfective will bring out the BLU AGE's 2009 edition, its Model Driven software suite, during the Code Generation on June 25th, 2008 at Cambridge (UK).
'Built on Eclipse' and 'Eclipse Ready', Blu Age's 2009 Edition offers in particular two new modules: an Integrated Modeling Environment, named Build, focusing on models elaboration, with advanced features of model debugging and real-time applications' generation; as well as an integrated Reverse Modeling environment to help companies migrate their Java (soon COBOL) applications legacy to up-to-date frameworks.
The 'Deliver' module is enriched by offering -among others- new generation cartridges.
